Freedom Artists is an art-based clothing label. Our mission is to provide an environment that allows artists the freedom and independence to create and showcase some of their best work. Our background is surfing, skating, and snowboarding–this is what we grew up doing and they were all the same in our minds–one big way of life. These sports are artistic and rebellious in nature and are a breeding ground for all types of artists—filmmakers, photographers, painters, musicians, writers, etc.
Our background is also in independent production: when we wanted to surf we made our own surfboards; when we wanted to skate transition we built our own ramps; when snowboarding was considered a trend by most people we would laugh and go ride powder all day; and when we wanted clothes that represented who we were, we built our own screenpress out of wood and began printing our own clothes. We take pride in supporting independent artists worldwide.
